It's such an upper for me to look at my yard and trees and realize that every living thing you can see ~ except the ground cover under the trees ~ is there because *I* planted it :-) Even that part of the lawn, and the trees behind the house! Love watching them grow. They are shading the whole back deck now.
Yesterday we had a good 'planning session' about what we want to do with the one remaining problematic area... and came up with some good ideas! I'll be sketching and thinking about it some more... while the boys pull the weeds! ha!
It's been a bumper year for rain, and my back yard is appreciating it!!

Oh, it looks so sunny and green. I've got a half inch of snow, and it's still coming down.

Can you pay them in popsicles, like Mom used to do to us?
Popsicles... I don't think so! But pizza... I'm sure they'd work for that!
